Opinião: 4° livro da série Trono de ferro. Originalmente este livro era maior, mas a editora e o autor decidiram cortar em dois, evitando assim um enorme numero de páginas. Esta divisão nota-se, na medida em que muitos dos personagens centrais não aparecem, são mencionados por outros, mas não participam de forma directa na intriga. A intriga política continua em grande neste livro, começam a ser preparadas vinganças, planos, alianças. Reis morreram, mas outros tomaram o lugar vago, e mais uma vez dispostos a tudo para manter a coroa e o poder. O mais interessante o começo do inferno para a Cersei, costuma-se dizer cá se fazem cá se pagam, vai ser interessante ver como se safa de um plano aparentemente brilhante que lhe explodiu na cara. Achei sem interesse nenhum a parte da Brienne, a parte mais chata do livro, o que é pena porque até gosto da personagem. Jon vai tomar decisões que me chocaram um pouco, mesmo sabendo que foi a forma encontrada para ir contra a ideia de Melissandre a mulher de vermelho e o seu sacrifício de sangue real. A Arya continua a desiludir, não sei qual é a ideia do autor, desconfio que vai ser ela a peça chave no final da série. A Sansa neste livro começa a transformação, curiosa para ver os seus limites e o que pretende com tudo aquilo o Litlefinger. A primeira parte possui pouca acção, ou mesmo interesse. Gostei mais da parte final. Conclusão uma série muito boa, mas com um estilo de escrita bastante pesado, aonde a intriga política é por vezes mais importante, o que pode não agradar a muitos.
